At Happy Shelter - Skopje, North Macedonia, we are committed to providing dogs with everything they deserve in life. As a no-kill shelter, we give dogs a second chance at a life away from the streets and an opportunity to get adopted into loving families. Our mission is to make sure that every dog that comes through our doors is given the best possible care and attention, and we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for both our dogs and visitors. We believe that every dog deserves a chance to be loved and to live a happy life. That's why we work tirelessly to provide the best possible care and attention to all of our dogs, and we are committed to finding them the perfect forever homes. Our Story

Happy Shelter is an animal shelter founded in October of 2020 by Kemal Neziri with the mission of saving as many dogs as possible from the streets of North Macedonia. We are a NO KILL shelter, constantly striving to find loving homes and provide medical care and attention to our four-legged friends. Our team is passionate about giving these animals a safe and loving environment. We are proud to have grown from our initial 30/40 dogs to now having over 200 animals in our care.

To ensure a continuous spot for the strays of North Macedonia at Happy Shelter, it is necessary to increase the number of adoptions. By having more adoptions, we create vacancies for those eagerly awaiting entry. Although it may not sound ideal, our priority is to provide each incoming dog with a quarantine area where they can adjust to the new environment and receive complete vaccination.
